There must be a cozy barn on the property, where the cats can live; I love cats, but they make me ill.Belfry Bathttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00514867101036143597noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2464977109229359349.post-88995183701687033312013-05-03T21:44:48.996-04:002013-05-03T21:44:48.996-04:00Just think -- if you were still on FB, how much mo...Just think -- if you were still on FB, how much more of my voluminous drivel you could be reading!

Yay for your carrots! Boo for feeling like a murderer when you thin them.

Captchas used to be easier, and funnier. Now it takes more squinting and they hardly ever come out funny.

It does take all kinds. I am not the hermit type. Not exactly the monastic type, either -- more of the "villager" type. Give me my space, but let me have nice neighbors.Sheilahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10853868724554947854noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2464977109229359349.post-1098280886118015372013-05-03T15:58:44.299-04:002013-05-03T15:58:44.299-04:00+JMJ+

LOL! I usually like it because I have fond memories of when blog friends and I would treat it like some oracle. (My favourite time was when a friend used the acronym "STFU" in his post then later deleted it. When I went to leave him a teasing comment about that, the captcha was "outstfu"!!!) But it has been a while since captcha has been so fun.

#3 -- My carrots are just starting to fluff! Well, some of them are. =P But now I know what you meant a few weeks ago when you had to thin them and it broke your heart a little. I stand over them and think, "How can I decide who will live and who will die???"

#4 -- I have no words. =(

#5 -- These technically aren't house features, but give me lots and lots of shelves for books, and never mind the rest of the home! (Now that you bring it up, though, I had cause to search for "pine interiors" early today and liked the rustic look. And I remember now that I don't really like cabinets very much. "Out of sight, out of mind," etc. So I'd have open shelving for a lot of stuff.)

#6 -- Cob houses are what hobbits would live in if they decided to stop dwelling in holes! Another American friend of mine and her husband actually decided to move into a double-wide with their three children several years ago. They did it so that they could live decently on his income and she could homeschool the children. (Another factor: big medical bills for one child, which have to be paid out of pocket because no insurance company will take them.) As someone who is currently very unhappy about living in and standing to inherit an impractical, unsustainable condominium unit from someone whom everyone advised not to get it and who hasn't been able to pay the association dues without help for the past few years . . . I say a trailer is the edgy and wise choice. I just don't know how good I'd be at homesteading.

#7 -- If I went off somewhere to live my faith more fully, I think I'd be more likely to be a hermit. ;-) Hey, it takes all kinds!

(Word Count: 412! Enough for a Facebook status, if I were still on the site! LOL!)Enbrethilielhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03414765854670926854noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2464977109229359349.post-10216932210063559942013-05-03T12:00:49.939-04:002013-05-03T12:00:49.939-04:00Oh, #4--yes, yes, yes, yes, YES!
